Welcome to second grade! I am delighted to be your child's teacher! This is my ninth year of teaching. I taught fourth grade for three years and this is my sixth year teaching second grade. My job has given me so much joy and fulfillment. I thank my lucky stars to teach at such a wonderful school and in such a great community.
I was born and raised here in Los Angeles. In fact, I was born at Little Company of Mary Hospital and grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes. I was in the first graduating class at Peninsula High - class of 1992. I received my bachelor's degree from St. Louis University where I studied Theatre and I got my master's degree in education at Pepperdine University. I live in Hermosa Beach and enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, working out, and spending time on my newest hobby: sewing. I just completed my first quilt this summer!
